Income and Employment
In most families, income is derived from salaries out of government and private sector services. Most of the Chinese and Tausogs in the area earn their living through business engagements like merchandising and marketing of marine products. Others depend on their outputs derived from agriculture, daily labor and small-scale fishing.
Family expenditure on the other hand revolves around basic needs like food and shelter, education, clothing and health. Social obligations too eat much of the family’s budget.
